From the Pastors

            We are Rev. Kellie and Rev. Bob Thomson, co-pastors at Woodland Hills Presbyterian Church.  We invite you to come worship with us and be part of our church family.  The members of our church are a great group of people who strive to live as disciples of Jesus Christ, following his teachings and serving others.  We want you to experience God’s love for you and know the difference that love can make in your life.

            We want to make your visit to our church as easy and friendly as possible.  We have reserved parking spaces for you in front of our church on Hatteras Street.  If you have children, we have child-care available in our nursery and we welcome all children and youth into our worship – we don’t mind the noise.  Be sure to pick up a special children’s bulletin as you enter.  We have church school for children ages 3-18 yrs except on the first Sunday of each month when we celebrate communion.  On the Sundays we don’t celebrate communion children are invited to the first part of worship and will be excused to Sunday school after a children’s sermon.  Middle High and Senior High youth are invited to go to Sunday School at this same time.

If this is your first time coming to a church we don’t want you to be nervous.  We are casual and relaxed – words to songs are projected on a screen and our service is easy to follow.  Our motto is “Come as you are…you will be loved.”

            If you are a first time visitor we especially want to meet you.  After worship we invite you to join us for fellowship and refreshments in our fellowship hall.
